January 2009 will be my last post in "Space Walking XXI." This post dated January 26 will be the last one.
"Space Walking XXI" will be published as a book. Since 2008 was a very important year due to the global economic crisis, the U.S. presidential elections, wars and other events I recommend that you get this small but important book which will be sold for a moderate price. This book cover major events, my comments and some personal reflections from January 17, 2008 to December 20, 2008. Keep in mind that the printed page will outlast any electronic storage device and it can be passed to future generations.

Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th president of the United States last Tuesday January 21. The day before was the celebration of "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day" whose life was dedicated for the improvement of the social and political conditions of black Americans. The election of Mr. Obama by the large majority of Americans has for this reason, without any doubt, a historical significance.

Mr. Obama is facing very grave obstacles left by George W. Bush government: the world financial crisis and the wars in Irak and Afghanistan.

More than 1.5 million Americans of all races and ages, enduring freezing conditions in that day of January 21, were on the National Mall in Washington D.C. They were there to welcome the new President of the United States, Barack Obama. Let's extend to him our best wishes in his new tough job.

En enero del 2009 escribo mi último artículo en "Caminando En Espacio XXI." Mi último asiento es el 26 de enero de 2009.
"Caminando En Espacio XXI" va a ser publicado como un libro. Como el 2008 fue un año muy importante debido a la crisis económica mundial, las elecciones presidenciales en los EE.UU., las guerras y otros hechos les recomiendo que adquieran este pequeño pero importante libro que se venderá por un precio módico. Este libro abarca los principales hechos del año, mis comentarios y algunas reflexiones personales desde el 17 de enero de 2008 hasta el 20 de diciembre de 2008. Tengan presente que las páginas impresas duran mucho más tiempo, hasta 500 años, que los dispositivos de almacenamiento electrónicos y por lo tanto pueden transmitirse a las generaciones futuras.
