In round 11 there was a strong battle of the minds between the Norwegian wunderkind Magnus Carlsen and the Indian Vishy Anand who is the present World Champion. The lad from Norway, playing with the White men, launched a piercing attack in the kingside of the chessboard against the Black King. Although Anand had the King already barricaded the defenses began to crumble before the sharp attack. Magnus, on his part, lost material in his attack and Anand was able to move away his King. Finally the skillful Indian champion won by a hair this game.
